Nicole Martin at Mission Trails Regional Park, on the Oak Canyon trail in San Diego, CA. "Spending time outdoors fills me with a deep sense of calm and peace. I love hiking with my family, as it gives me the chance to share the beauty of nature with my children and help them develop a lasting appreciation for the natural world."
Stephanie Wolfe at El Capitán State Beach in Goleta, CA. "Since I was a young kid, my family and I have gone camping at the same campground in Santa Barbara County. It is my favorite tradition. We hike the trail to the beach every year, which winds through chaparral shrubland, and I'm always curious to see how the land changed from the year prior. Once at the beach, I could sit for hours in awe, watching the waves crash on the shore."
Goat Rock Trail in Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs, AR. "I’m in the area facilitating PopEd workshops and this was just the carefree break I needed."
Bennet Steidinger in Huntingdon, PA. "Taken on a recent Population Education trip! Great to spend time with colleagues in nature."
