Population Connection survey: Are "baby bust" headlines sowing misinformation?

In June 2025, Population Connection worked with polling firm YouGov to conduct an online survey to determine how much Americans know about US and global population sizes and trends, whether they are concerned about them, and if so, why. We also aimed to find out to what degree people are exposed to media stories about declining birthrates.
