Thailand has made incredible progress in health and economic development since the 1970s, when Mechai Viravaidya (a.k.a. Mr. Condom) founded the Population and Community Development Association (PDA) and the Cabbages & Condoms chain of restaurants and hotels. This issue features a profile of Mr. Mechai and includes photos from Population Connection’s delegation to the International Conference on Family Planning in November. We also thank our ZPG Society members for their lifelong dedication to our work!
